Be aware of your body language during an interview.
Don't fold your arms or cross your legs while sitting or standing, as these will give the interviewer the impression that you have a negative or defensive attitude. It can also come across as being insecure and fearful.
Don't appear overbearing, cocky or domineering by spreading your legs while sitting, placing your hands on your hips, or clasping hands behind your head or neck.
Some innocent gestures could be taken as being provocative, intimate or sexual. Avoid pen fondling or chewing, playing with your hair, licking your lips, fondling your ring, and winking.
